Currently the Head of Information Technology for Baker Tilly, Allen spent 4 years at Accenture, working as an IT Consultant specializing in Microsoft solutions. His experience at Accenture focused primarily on designing and implementing IT infrastructures for large utility companies. He implemented and tested Microsoft Active Directory for large companies while participating in the Windows 2000 Server beta program. He also managed a team of engineers who were responsible for the IT infrastructure of more than 700 users in St. Petersburg, Florida.
In 2002, Allen became the IT Manager for KPMG (now Baker Tilly) in the Virgin Islands, where he is responsible for the IT infrastructure supporting approximately 80 users in the British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands. He also serves as primary support for ViewPoint Software for Business in the British Virgin Islands. In 1999, he achieved a Certified Laptop Technician certification. In 2000, Allen achieved his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification. In 2005, he achieved his Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification, specializing in Microsoft Windows Server 2003. In 2010, he earned his Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Messaging Administrator (MCITP) certification, along with his Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) certification. From 2020-2022, he has become qualified in various other enterprise-level Microsoft certifications, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. He is also a Certified Ethical Hacker. He is an active member of the IEEE and participates in the Technology Advisory Board.
Allen earned a BBA in Computer Information Systems from the University of Miami in 1998.
